*At each of the 64,800 seconds of scheduled open visitation hours, a microcontroller evaluated a random number function with a 1 in 64,800 probability of success. If successful, power would be cut to the electromagnet and the chain would drop. Given the exhibition as a whole, this was more likely to happen than not. However, it did not.
